From Colombian Mountains to Colorado Mountains

I was born and raised in the beautiful coffee region of Quindío, Colombia, swimming in its warm-clear rivers and surrounded by vivid green mountain vegetation and dark soil. Today, living in the front range of Colorado, I’ve been captivated by the wonders of wildlife and ever-changing landscapes. From desaturated palettes to playful golds, red rocks, and vibrant blue skies.

From Coffee Cup to Coffee Cup

With 20 years of experience in the art field, I began my journey as a young married illustrator, publishing in magazines, books, and newspapers. Over the years, I was invited to participate in various art events, shows, and festivals, where I earned honorific mentions from Colombia and China.

One of my most meaningful projects was painting a series of murals about local birds around my hometown. This experience helped me realize the deep connection between the landscape and the culture of its people.

I then moved to Colorado to be closer to family and enjoy more time outdoors, which further fueled my creativity. This inspired the creation of my current series of wildlife oil paintings, drawn from the stunning nature that surrounds me.

Today, I live in Lakewood, Colorado with my wife and son, and we’ve made this our family business.
